Everything was beautiful, excellent service, amazing location short walk to pretty and Kawaramachi where there are tons of shops and restaurants and Ryokan Tazuru. The staff was consistently courteous, outstandingly accommodating. We stayed in a japanese-style triple room which was brand-new and nicely furnished.

Had a fine stay with top quality service. The hotel was a brilliant base for enjoying a charming area, close enough to several attractions such as Kiyomizudera, Gion, and Nishiki Market. Appreciated the way our well laid out and large room on the higher floors was arranged. The location was good and fantastic; for example, Kawaramachi was just a short walk away from the venue.

I had a wonderful stay at a traditional Ryokan in Kyoto. The location was perfect, with plenty of options for dining and exploring nearby. The wooden ofuro was a delightful and relaxing experience. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to assist me, even though we had a language barrier. I felt like I was truly experiencing the old Japan I had come to see. I highly recommend this Ryokan for a unique and authentic cultural adventure.

Authentic ryokan experience with traditional features and communal baths. Close to Gion area with Maiko sightings. Good value for money.
